The docks in Kaer Trolde Harbour after completing the main quest ‘Destination: Skellige’.

Note:This side-quest is only going to appear in your quest log in the event that you successfully finish it by keeping the goal NPC living until the very ending. Upon finishing the side-quest, it will appear in the log.

After first arriving in Kaer Trolde, there is a NPC on the docks after completing the’Destination: Skellige’ pursuit with a’!’ Quest marker over his head.

Approaching and talking with him will have him ask for 150 Gold. Pay the man when you have the money on hand. It’ll definitely pay off in the long run.

Note: For giving him the money, you’ll earn 15XP.

A few in-game days after, the identical man are found in the small roadside camp with the merchant across the street between the’Crossroads’ and’Kaer Trolde Harbour’ quick travel markers on Ard Skellig. He’ll attempt to pull off the same stunt again. Now You’ll Have a Few options during the dialogue:

• “I won’t turn you in.” – The fellow will disappear and appear again in a few day’s time elsewhere.
• “The Jarl can decide what to do with you.” – He will become hostile and you’ll need to kill him.
• “I’ll take care of you myself.” – He will become hostile and you’ll need to kill him.

If you opted to let him live during the next encounter, he will appear once more a couple of days later in the town of Fyresdal, at the southwestern portion of Ard Skellig.

In this conversation he’ll say his gratitude and provide you with a reward.

Note: For completing the side-quest you’ll earn 50XP and 200 Crowns.
