Elden Ring has taken the browser on fire with its ever-increasing popularity. Perhaps it’s because of the challenging tasks that players come across or the fascinating castles and forests of Land Betweens that provoke them to explore the dark ruins.
The popularity, however, does not depend solely on its graphics; the game ensures to provide the user with the best combats with Non-Player Characters (NPC) and other players. The Noxious and cruel demigods residing in fortresses and dungeons will be testing the player’s capabilities and skills to an extreme notch; conversely, if you lose, the consequences will be harsh.
What are the Consequences of Joining Volcano Manor?
Amongst the Legacy Dungeons, the Volcano Manor is an optional area that firmly holds its own uniqueness and progression. Once inside, the player will be exposed to a series of quest lines, including the task of exterminating the tarnished from different realms, travelers, and players like themselves to get precious loots from their cadavers. Along the way, there are other assignments that are necessary to complete the storylines of NPCs and for upgrading to the next level.
Should you Enter the Volcano Manor or not?
Entering the Volcano Manor or avoiding it, the decision is completely yours. When you get in the Manor, the Bernahl will not be happy with you as you will not only be killing other tarnished but also rebelling against the fingers and Erd tree itself.
This is the only drawback that the player will be encountering; other than that, there are no inopportune consequences. Moreover, the ferocious quest lines of the Volcano Manor will not have any impact on the game’s major plot or the ending. So giving it a try is not unworthy for the accumulation of some rare loots, weapons, and awards along the way.
When the player joins the Manor, they can spot Tanith, the head of the Manor, and her knight that will be present on the right of the site to Grace. The quests will be given by her in the form of letters that will encode the detail of the targeted tarnish the player needs to assassinate and its location. Consequently, red spots will appear on the map, locating the exact locus of the target. After following through with the conquest, the following rewards are provided;
- The Old Knight Istvan will drop the Scaled Armor Set when defeated in Limgrave. Tanith, after being reported, will reward the subject with Magma Shot Sorcery Spell
- Rileigh The Idle will be located in Altus Plateau, and upon his assassination, he will drop twenty key bolts and the Crepus‘s Vail Talisman. The player will be rewarded with the Serpentbone blade by Tanith
- Juno Hoslow, the Knight of Blood, will provide you with Hoslow’s Armor Set and Hoslow’s petal whip after you have conquered him. Taker’s Cameo Talisman will be awarded by Tanith upon reporting
- The most worthy of all is the direct and easy access to the boss of the Volcano Manor, Rykard, also known as the Lord of Blasphemy. By completing the series of quests, Tanith will bestow you with a meeting by getting the player teleported to the Mist Gate
Now here, the player has the option of either accepting Tanith’s request or finding the Rykard on his own by entering the prison town and following the maps and instructions. The journey itself will be hard and strenuous. The player, at this point, will be encountering complex pathways, men-serpents, torturous weapons, and lots of enemies.
The most difficult part will be the combat with no other than Godskin Noble, the big boss who is quite skillful with his weapon. To defeat him, the player needs to shift its focus more on defending as his attacks and reach both are far more efficient in comparison. Certain specific attacking tactics will be required to defeat him.
His ultimate weapon, the Godskin Stitcher, will drop once he is defeated, and by then, the player will be able to take up the Serpent’s Amnion. Keep in mind that it is the essential item of Rya’s quest line. Finally, at the end of this grumpy voyage, the participant will come across the Lord of Blasphemy.
Subsequently, if he overthrows the Rykard, his rune will be refurbished at Celestial Tower off West Altus. Tanith can be reported about the incident, so she accredits the death of her master. She and her knight will temporarily disappear soon after the acknowledgment, leaving behind the Tonic of Forgetfulness that will be an aid in Rya’s narrative.
In the event while the player desires for more treasure, he needs to look for Tanith. She can be found right beside her master Rykard, eating his head. After killing her, the player can loot her consort’s attire from her corpse. Moreover, in order to gain the Aspect of Crucible incantation subject must defeat the knight that was guarding Tanith.
In a second scenario, if the player does not enter the manor instantaneously, he can use stairs on the left to the first floor. Going farther in the room, inquisitor Ghiza will try to overrun you using his massive spinning wheel. The player has the chance to equip the weapon by defeating inquisitor Ghiza. The storyline afterward follows from Tanith again.
After completing the quest line and challenges, you can step out of the Volcano Manor. However, if you have entered here but choose not to cope with the tasks, you can find the site of Grace in the basement of the Manor. It will be a room full of bats followed by slugs and snails. Even during the game, you rarely will stumble on the checkpoints. Thus, if you think you have completed basic tasks like completing the quests of Tanith etc., you can leave manor through the site of Grace even without meeting Rykard.
Conclusion:
Although it’s an optional part of the game that will not significantly change your fate in the game, nonetheless, the benefits associated with merging in this thriller journey are quite aspiring. From upgrading the inventory to collecting items for another conquest and from getting treasures to defeating the Lord, all of it is profitable in one way or another. Moreover, if the player wishes to stick to the central plot of the game, there is also no harm in it. The key is just to enjoy and manifest what you are doing.
