The manual will cover all of the callers in theHunter: Call of the Wild. Callers are utilized to entice their targeted species if they are not in worried condition.
Some animals, may respond to your telephone by making a vocal answer, e.g. an Elk may communicate with making a noise called a bugle.
In this guide I will cover exactly what creatures callers are for, as well as covering the range, duration, and durability. Scents are attractants that target the olvactory senses of these animals for attraction.
How to Use Callers
Overview of Range, Duration and Strength
These are pretty self explanatory, but for those who are new to the uses of animal callers here is an explanation.
Range
Range is the amount of distance the call can cover. Lets say you have a caller with a range of 200 meters and a creature is 250 meters away, the animal won’t be drawn by the caller before in range of 200 meters, so at that point call from the creature again.
Duration
Duration is how long the call lasts. In my opinion I’d use a call every 15 — 30 minutes unless it is a bird call where I’d use the caller four or five days in a row and then take a 15 — 30 second rest of calling.
Strength
Strength is how much of an appeal chance the caller gets. Obviously the higher the potency number the better prospect of appeal. I’m not quite sure how this exactly works in the game seeing as nearly every one of the callers have a power of 40.
