Professional players mainly utilize the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive console to create binds that intensify their gameplay, including radars and crosshairs to boost performance. However, some individuals in the community have discovered a way to generate arbitrary groaning noises using the CS:GO console.
How does the Moaning Sound Work?
In the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the characters produce sounds that indicate different events, such as being shot or killing an opponent. Notably, when a character dies, they emit a sound similar to a dying noise.
Players have discovered a way to trigger this moaning sound effect on demand by assigning a key bind to a command that plays the sound effect. This command is broadcasted to the entire team and functions like any other radio command.
Cs:Go Moan Bind
Follow these steps to make moan bind:
- Open the console
- Type bind <key> “playerradio deathcry moan”
The “<key>” can be set to any button you desire; for example, if you want to set the key to “L”, then the command will bind L “playerradio deathcry moan” , and it will work.
How to Use the Moan Button
Due to the command being removed by Valve in a recent update, you can only moan when sv_cheats is enabled!
In a custom lobby, do the following:
- Type sv_cheats 1
- Type sv_playerradio_use_allowlist 0
- Spam the bind!
Unfortunately, the command in normal matchmaking has been made inactive by Valve. It could be utilized when “sv_cheats” is enabled.
How to Bind the Moaning Sound
Type the command after opening the command to make a moaning sound.
How to Open the Console
Follow these steps to open the console in CS:GO:
- Launch CS:GO, then go to Settings
- Head over to Game
- Look for Enable Developer Console and change it to Yes
- Click the “~” key to open the console
