If you have been a keen Elden Ring player, then you must have explored the Land in Between and other enthralling sites. While the voyage itself is a rollercoaster ride, it certainly provides users with various NPCs and unique creatures. Well, you may have come across something that resembles a stone turtle and has a bell on its belly along with a mausoleum on its back.
If you, by any chance, happen to be nearby, then you really can’t miss one of these. The bell is fairly difficult to miss. These are the wandering mausoleums, of which there is a number in Elden Ring’s universe. So what should you do if you come upon one? I’ll first show you how to lower the tomb before explaining what these do.
Locations of Walking Mausoleums:
- Weeping Peninsula – east of Isolated Merchant’s Shack
- Liurnia of the Lakes – northeast of Raya Lucaria
- Liurnia of the Lakes – south of the Mausoleum Compound
- Liurnia of the Lakes – north of the Mausoleum Compound
- Mountaintop of the Giants – near Castle Sol
- Consecrated Snowfield – northwest of Ordina
- Deeproot Depths – north of The Nameless Eternal City
Purpose of Mausoleums:
In the Lands Between, ragged explorers can find seven Walking Mausoleums. Once inside a mausoleum, Elden Ring participants have the ability to replicate a single Remembrance. Only seven of the fifteen Remembrances in the game can be duplicated by Tarnished, which corresponds to the number of Mausoleums that are accessible.
Tarnished pilgrims must remove the giant’s feet’s surrounding white barnacles in the form of white skulls in order to access the duplication chamber of an Elden Ring Walking Mausoleum. Take care not to get trampled on or jumped on while this is happening. The Mausoleum will collapse once all the skulls have been removed, allowing players to enter and replicate their Remembrance in Elden Ring.
Keep in mind that atop the creature’s body are the skulls of the bell-wielding Walking Mausoleums of Liurnia of the Lakes and Deeproot Depths. Players will need to mount Torrent and use the surrounding surroundings to leap onto the Mausoleum in order to access these lofty spots. Smash away the white muck from atop the beast to reveal the hidden room.
