Platform fighting games are one of the most enjoyable video game genres for parties. You may enjoy playing together with friends, and the concept of multiple simultaneous players can lead to some surprising storylines.
Brawlhalla is one of the most popular fighting games available on many different platforms, including Android and iOS. Its developers and publishers claim Brawlhalla has more than 80 million players.
Currently, there are more than 50 available characters, and each has its specific features. However, Blue Mammoth Studio, the developers of Brawlhalla, found another great way to attract new audiences and bring joy to those who already play. During five years of its existence, Brawlhalla had crossovers with more than 15 other franchises.
As a result of such collaboration, there are epic crossover skins — some notable characters made guest appearances. Still, their gameplay is similar to already existing original characters. You can buy them with mammoth coins, and each epic crossover skin also has custom signature effects.
In this article, we will talk about some epic crossover skins you really might want to buy.
The Undertaker
Let’s start with one of the most fruitful crossovers regarding the number of appearing characters. Thanks to the collaboration with WWE, Blue Mammoth Studio was able to add eight superstars, both past and present.
If we talk about the Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling, one of its spots is definitely reserved for The Undertaker. Mark Calaway portrayed one of the greatest characters ever to enter the squared circle. The Phenom was only recently inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame. While he might not be the most decorated wrestler in the world, his famous Wrestlemania win streak was arguably the most prestigious bounty to claim for over 20 years.
It is kind of symbolic that The Deadman shares the skill set with another immortal being, Thor. The God of Lightning is among the strongest Brawlhalla characters from the point of game balance. The Undertaker (and Thor) are keener to a strong style. They might lack dexterity or agility compared to other Brawlhalla characters. Still, they deal lots of damage and punish opponents severely for their mistakes.
In this epic crossover skin, the famous hammer of the Norse God, Mjölnir, is replaced by The Phenom — a sledgehammer with The Undertaker logo. It is used in slow but heavy attacks. The secondary weapon, the Orb, is made in the shape of a famous urn. This urn was said to be a source of mystical power for The Deadman. In Brawlhalla, it has the name of The Undertaker’s signature move — The Last Ride. Use it for fast attacks and devastating combos that will make your opponents tap out.
Lara Croft
Let’s move on to one of the most iconic female characters in the history of video games. The famous Tomb Raider has the same skill set as Diana. Diana might not be the strongest character in Brawlhalla, but in the right hands, she is able to shock opponents. Diana has a bow and blasters as her primary and secondary weapons, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Lara Croft’s famous double pistols appear in the game.
The primary weapon, a bow, also perfectly aligns with the protagonist of the Tomb Raider series. Lara can perform quick and devastating attacks with her bow. However, the hitbox for a successful attack is relatively small, so this is a downside for what otherwise could have been an imbalanced weapon. The dual pistols are also notable weapons cause you may use them for successful combos.
Overall, Lara Croft is a character for those who like an aggressive game style. Pressure opponents, lead them into the traps, force them to make mistakes and dictate the overall pace of the battle. The Tomb Raider was always proactive in her adventures, and Brawlhalla is no exception.
Chun Li
Of course, we couldn’t be silent about the crossover with one of the most popular franchises in the history of fighting games. Blue Mammoth Studio brought eight Street Fighter characters. You can cast “HADOUKEN!” with Ryu, crush the opponents with Akuma or send opponents flying with the signature spinning bird kick of Chun Li.
We chose the Interpol officer because she has different strengths compared to The Undertaker and Lara Croft. Chun Li (and Wu Shang, with whom Chun Li shares a move set) are characters with very high dexterity. You will be able to perform lots of fast combos and fully control the game.
Chun Li uses sparring gloves as her primary weapon. That allows her to attack fast. Her secondary weapon is Martial Staff, which is really good for spinning attacks. Also, the staff gives you the necessary distance for successful poking. While Chun Li might not be the greatest character from the point of game balance, she is fun to play.
Brawlhalla offers you more than fifty epic crossover skins, so everyone will find the character they like. We hope you will have lots of fun while playing Brawlhalla because that is what video games are all about. Good luck, have fun and take care!
