When Crucible is the matter of concern, a Guardian can be only as good as their arsenal.
The Crucible’s sandbox undergoes changes in Destiny 2 once every few months. Whenever comes time to grind Quickplay, Competitive, or even Trials of Osiris, certain firearms and whole paradigms are altered. The alteration may occur for either better or worse of scenario. In addition new guns also join the Meta.
For more detailed information on the modifications made with each game update, read Bungie’s patch notes carefully. Some firearms totally disappear from the game’s PvP modes, while others emerge from obscurity or out of mediocrity to take the lead.
