This guide will show you how to turn on the hotkeys for placing towers and what all of them are, It also goes over all the miscellaneous other hotkeys throughout the game.

How to turn on the hotkeys

Start up any game and then click on the gear in the top right corner.

once in this menu simply click on the empty circle next to “Click & Drop” to switch your controls, you will also no longer have to hold down the mouse for every tower you place.

and just like that your done!

How to Gain XP Faster & Better

This guide will give you an in – depth explanation on how tower XP works and the best way to gain it. Note that this is all based off how I have played the game and I wanted to share a few things.

How XP Works

This part of the guide will introduce the basics of how experience works and how you can gain more for certain towers. There is a more detailed explanation and strategies on how to gain tower XP in the specific section.

Round Experience and Distribution:

Every round is worth an amount of XP and is shared among towers. Here’s and example:

• A round has 1000XP to give if you beat it successfully.
• You spend $600 on a Dart Monkey and $400 on a Druid
• You get 600 XP given to your Dart Monkey and 400XP to your Druid.
• (600:400 Ratio, in total being 1000 since the round is worth 1000XP)

So the XP is divided between them equal to the amount of cash spent on each different tower types.

You get more given to your Dart Monkey because you have invested more into that tower. The more you spend on a tower the more XP you will gain. And if you only use one type of tower, that tower will then gain all the XP given from that round.

If you had multiple towers of the same type but also some other towers, here’s how it would work:

• You spend $300, $300 on 2 Dart Monkeys ($600 in total between the 2) and $400 on a Druid
• You get 600XP given to your Dart Monkey and 400XP to your Druid.
• (300:300:400 Ratio)

You still get 600XP towards your Dart Monkey upgrades since that’s how much you have invested into the tower in total.

Difficulty Experience:

The higher the difficulty, the more experience you will gain. Pretty simple.

Hopefully this has shown you the basics of how XP works.

How to Gain XP Easily

This part of the guide will explain the easiest ways that I’ve found to gain easy and fast tower XP.

Things to keep in mind:

• You gain more XP for the higher difficulty you play
• Single player will earn you easier XP
• These strategies are all for single player
• If you want to speed up the process even more, use Benjamin so you can get more money faster to upgrade the towers.

Strategies:

1. Simply any map on hard difficulty
Playing any map on hard difficulty mainly using the tower you want XP for is a great way to speed up the process. It does not matter if you lose or run out of lives, you can just restart. If you use this process you can just watch the XP roll in.

2. Deflation on Dark Castle
This is a hard mission to complete but rewarding with fast and easy XP. Just use the towers you want to upgrade and easily gain XP. Again, if you die it is fine, just restart.

3. Use your Monkey Knowledge points
Simply just use your Monkey Knowledge points in your tree for an easier run for XP.

These strategies work well in my opinion and have helped me out a lot.

7. Quincy
Relies on his abilities to deal damage
Jack of all trades master of none
Simple to use/place and forget

Pick Quincy if you really hate round 63.

6. Benjamin
Doesn’t attack
Makes money every round
Makes money every bloon spawn
Starts to lose money when using Bloon Trojan on MOAB class balloons
Biohack is situational and can sometimes kill you
Syphon Funding can make a would be hard round into a joke

Pick Benjamin if you plan on farming early.

5. Obyn Greenfoot
Has the weakest attack of all the heroes
Cannot pop purple balloons
Greatly relies on his abilities to deal damage
Gains more money from popping balloons with Wall of Trees

At level 10 Wall of Trees has 3000hp
(Can tank 4 MOABs and 6 ceramics)

At level 20 Wall of Trees has 5600hp
(Can tank 1 Fortified BFB and 2 ceramics)
(Can tank 1 BFB 2 MOABs and 6 ceramics)

Pick Obyn Greenfoot if you want a worse permaspike.

4. Captain Churchill
Deals the most damage out of all the heroes
Levels the slowest out of all the heroes
Relies on his ablilites to deal damage
Is weak against black/zebra balloons

Pick Captain Churchill if you want DPS, but dont expect him to do better than a tier 3 supermonkey.

3. Biker Bones
Weak against spaced balloons
Weak against black/zebra balloons
Dosent work well by himself
Extremely good at stalling balloons

Pick Striker Jones if you plan on using bomb shooters.

2. Ezili
Has the strongest attack of all the heroes without using abilities
Removes camo/regrow/fortified effects from non MOAB class balloons at level 9
Cannot pop purple balloons
Poweful against balloons that spawn children
Extremely powerful against MOAB class balloons
Deals more damage than The Bloon Solver
Is best girl

Pick Ezili if you want to deal extreme amounts of DOT while also having utility.

1. Gwendolin
Has the second strongest attack of all the heroes without using abilities
Cannot pop purple balloons until level 16
Allows nearby towers to pop lead balloons with Heat it up
At level 17 Heat it up gives towers +1 layer of damage
Her Cocktail of Fire is good against non MOAB class balloons
Firestorm is good

Pick Gwendolin if you want to be a meta slave.
