Introduction
Pokemon is a famous Japanese video game series launched in 1996. The video game series features virtual creatures that include psychics, steel, water, flying, ground, and many more. Although, Electric types are considered the most iconic Pokemon group as Pikachu has been the franchise’s mascot from the beginning. The Voltorb Pokemon recently gained popularity after releasing two stop-motion shorts before its inclusion in Pokémon Legends Arceus. In the last two decades, video game officials have introduced many generations in the Electric category, producing many collections for its player.
Electric-Type Pokemon are the most famous and beloved because of their strong defense and electricity-generating traits. These Pokemon are considered very difficult to encounter the have relatively few weaknesses. However, they would get weak in front of some Pokemon type. In this blog, All Electric-type Pokémon weaknesses are explained.
Electric Weakness: Ground
Ground Type Pokemon are considered most effective against the Electric-types. This type holds a greater survival rate against the raid with the Electric-types. Ground Type Pokemon could deal with double damage and strong immunity against Electric-type. Although, that means they can only get paralyzed against electric moves like Stun Spore, Body Slam, or Dragon breath. The player can also take advantage of his pokemon by using Pro-Ground-type actions against Electric-types, including Earthquake, Earth Power, High Horsepower, and Mud Shot.
We can say that Electric Type Pokemon have only one weakness that works as a massive advantage for balancing out the raid chances for Ground types. Electric types are secondary-class potentials that might add or remove many inadequacies. The Electric-type Pokémon’s Dual Electric and Flying-type work as immunity to Ground-type moves.
Electric-Type Pokemon are very overbearing to face in a raid if the player doesn’t have ground-type Pokemon. Also, many non-Ground-type Pokémon can adapt some of the Ground-type moves. That means unless the Pokemon is not vulnerable agist Electricity, the would be able to raid against Pikachu and its fellow types.
