The Ocean Egg is an exclusive legendary egg from Adopt Me!. This egg came out on April 16th, 2021, at 7:30 AM PT to replace that of the Fossil Egg. This was followed by its counterpart, the Mythic Egg, on the 19th of August 2021. This Ocean Egg is no longer accessible and can now only be acquired through trade.
On the 9th of April 2021, a massive floating banner in white and red with a live countdown was carried by a flying Starfish and a Crab with a white set of wings, with a few particles that appear to be purple. The Nursery was adorned with marine-themed items like seaweed and coral were used to decorate the area. As the countdown ended as The Ocean Egg was released, the nursery was inundated and remained that way up to the Mythic Egg’s release time.
Appearance:
It is known as the Ocean Egg and is a dark blue-coloured egg surrounded by deep green sea kelp underneath it. It can sometimes break off and is accompanied by some yellow and brownish-looking area inside the starfish close to the top right corner of the egg.

- Octopus – Legendary > hatching chance 2,5% > 1 each 40 eggs
- Shark – Legendary > hatching chance 2,5% > 1 each 40 eggs
This Ocean egg comes with the best probability of hatching a famous pet, compared to the eggs in the other Gumball Machine eggs, similar to that of the Fossil Egg.
Chances for each pet are determined by the official odds of each rare pet, divided by the number of pets with this rarity. That means all pets with similar rarity have the same chance. If, for instance, you want to have a shark, you’ll have a 5% chance of having a legendary pet. However, two legendaries mean 55% divided into 2 equals 2,5 per cent.
If you wish to unlock every ocean animal, you’ll need between 40 and 60 eggs, which amounts to the equivalent of $30,000-$45,000
