Linzi will visit your throne room and will notice, nicely, that there is no throne. Visit the town square and talk with two retailers (Verdel and Hasuff in the center). Then head to the tavern and chat with Elina concerning the stolen items.

The fourth individual to speak to is the captain of the guard. Start looking for him to the best of the throne room entrance.

If the captain doesn’t want to talk about the throne (no such dialogue lineup ), then that really is a bug — await a patch.

After all four discussions, you can just await the throne to look on sale. It will happen after you Finish The Trail of the Dreams quest and visit the Whiterose Abbey through The Battle of the River Kings.

After you exit the abbey, just go in almost any direction, because after a couple of seconds there will be a random experience. You may meet a goblin merchant, who will have the throne.

He asks for 100 gold in return. Trying to negotiate will raise the cost to 200, but if you figure out how to intimidate him, he can gift you a great deal of useful thing for a bonus. The throne is returned.
