Introduction
In Genshin Impact 1.6 version, some major changes have appeared including an island named Golden Apple Archipelago which emerges with a timer. Along with this island, it also reveals a clue for a long-lost wrecked ship from Inazuma.
The summertime event of Genshin Impact has bought an Adventure for its fans which is an Inazuma Prequel Act II. This Midsummer Island Adventure appears as a continuation of the Mysterious Islands Quest story plot, with the emergence of new islands, locations, quests, and puzzles for the players to explore vigorously.

“From Outer Lands” is one such quest that lets players investigate the Golden Apple Archipelago’s hidden mysteries.
Genshin Impact’s “From Outer Lands” Quest
The “From Outer Lands” quest in Genshin Impact is a task given to the players to unravel Genshin Impacts 1.6 update’s Act II. This quest requires players to resolve the mystery of missing parts of a wrecked ship by following the clues left behind by the crew sailing that ship once from Inazuma. The ship is stranded somewhere among the islands of the Archipelago and needed to be found.
The quest has three parts, that is finding the two halves of the wrecked ship and then looking for the lost cargo from this ship. To initiate this quest, the players, have to set their sails toward Pudding Isle, an average-sized island lying north of this Isle.
Note: There is no order to find the parts of this shipwreck. Any location out of the two can be visited first.
Find the First Half of the Shipwreck

This location would take a bit of a hike to reach the top of the island to find the first half of the wreck. Upon reaching the top, a Waverider point will become visible for the players along with an Echoing Conch. After reaching the first half of the shipwreck, look closely to find a slightly rotten Wooden plank in the ship.

This wooden plank will be holding the clue that is really helpfdentifying the location of the other half of the ship. This wooden plank is carved with a message left by the crew, who somehow survived the wreckage by swimming through the southeastern currents from the other half of the wreck.

The crew believes that the ship was holding cargo that must have drowned and sunken at the bottom of the sea by the time. Paimon will then offers a suggestion to the players to investigate the other half of the broken ship. With this, the second part of the “From Outer Lands” quest will be activated in Genshin Impact.
While carving the message, the crew member also mentions that they wafted along the currents on the southeastern sides. It might be useful for the players to keep this information in mind while searching for the other half of the ship where it broke off.
Find the Second Half of the Shipwreck
To look for the other half, head toward the northwest from the current location to find a same-sized island lying west of Twinning Isle. The players can use their Waverider to sail toward the location from this point or they can use any other closest Waypoint to head toward the destination (If it is activated).

The second location at Twinning Island has a much more difficult hike and careful inspection can lead the players to another Waverider point along with a mural at this location. The other half, which is the front of the wrecked ship can be found here at the top of this rocky mountain.

Look for another wooden plank on this part of the ship and inspect it to find further clues. This log will tell the players that the crew of the sail was trying to sail away from Inazuma when the incident happened to result in the breaking down of this ship. The cargo in the ship is also missing on this part and must have glided southwest where the other half has coasted.
At this point, the third half of the “From Outer World” quest has started where players are now required to find out the missing cargo from this shipwreck. As the wooden log has presented some clues to direct the players about the anticipated location of the cargo.
Players now can explore the areas between the two locations to look for this missing cargo. By this time, a marker on the map would reveal itself directing the players about the possible locations where the cargo can be found. The three potential locations to look for this cargo are:
- Southeastern Area of the Circle
- Dead Center of the Circle
- Northwestern Area of the Circle
Find out The Missing Cargo
Now that players have found both halves of the ruined ship, finding out the missing cargo is the last part of the quest. While sailing towards the above-mentioned locations, players will witness three bubbles dispersed over different other ship ruins.
Players have to check all three of these bubbles while looking for the cargo. While doing so, one of these bubbles will reveal the villain of this quest. A strange machine that will attempt to attack the players.

They have to face this machine by using their Waverider’s Mortar to counter the attacks and finish the enemy. Once the players successfully defeat this machine, the quest will come to end and a lavish treasure chest will emerge holding a reward for the quest completion of Genshin Impact.
